I was born and raised in Bakersfield California. I started playing with a camera at age ten when I discovered my sister’s camcorder and have been shooting ever since. 22 years working in news. Started at KERO 23 news where I spent 5 years as an editor and photojournalist. KGET was my next stop, then on to WGNO ABC 26 in New Orleans. WVUE Fox 8 would be my last stop in the television news world. I am currently the Video and Photography Manager in Marketing for Audubon Nature Institute where I have been a part of a great team. I am able to capture nature and the beautiful variety of animals and insects, learning the importance of conservation efforts.
In the production world, I have worked on shows such as Food Paradise on the Travel channel as a photographer and ran audio for interviews. I have worked on big comedy show productions operating the Robotic Camera and, shot behind the scene interviews at Essence fest with celebrities.
